Max Lux, founder and visionary for LUX Manufacturing moved to the Bay Area in the 1950's. Since then the Lux family has maintained an active involvement in the local community. So when the current President, Frank Lux, moved the headquarters to Sunnyvale, California, he did so to both support the many loyal LUX clients, and to maintain the historical roots in the Silicon Valley.
In 1990, Frank Lux was honorably discharged from the US Marines.
He served as a Colonel.
Frank Lux established the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) Alumni Chapter at San Jose State University.
The Lux Family is a proud supporter of San Jose State University. Their efforts include promoting the San Jose State University Sports Program through charity auctions.
LUX Manufacturing is proud support community events for neighborhood kids and their schools. LUX has sponsored and participated in the annual Turkey Trot Run held at Vasona Park.
LUX is also a regular participant in the annual St. Martins Festival benefiting St. Martins Elementary School.
